Located on the 1st floor of building B, the Vascular Surgery Unit has ten beds with rooms of two beds and one first class room. All rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, television and a cupboard for patients’ clothes.
Maximum waiting time: 6/7 days for hospitalisation

Activities of department
Surgical activities
- Peripheral artery disease (upper and lower limbs): surgical and endovascular treatment for peripheral arterial disease.
- Prevention and treatment of diabetic foot: limb salvage in severe diabetic foot infection with or without minor amputations.
- Treatment of aortoiliac stentobstructive: endovascular surgery according to current International Guidelines.
- Abdominal aortic aneurysm: endovascular surgery stent both abdominal and thoracic aorta.
- Carotid stenoocclusive diseases and stenoocclusive disease of the supraaortic trunk: traditional surgical therapy, carotid artery angioplasty and stenting through percutaneous transfemoral catheterization. The results in this field are achieved with a low complication rate (below 2%).
- Arteriovenous malformations (AVM): diagnosis and endovascular treatment of adults.
- Varicocele treatment for men and women.
- Surgery of vascular access for hemodialysis: temporary or permanent vascular access for hemodialysis.
- Varicose vein surgery: treatment of varicose veins with modern methods such as radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and endovenous laser treatment. The treatment is done in Day Surgery.

Outpatients department of Vascular surgery
Every Wednesday and Friday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 am.
The cost of an outpatients visit is € 50.00.

All specialist surgical visits preadmission and postdischarge are free.
Outpatients department of diabetic foot
Every Monday from 3.00 pm to 5:00 p.m and every Wednesday from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm.
We advise that reservations must be made through CUP (Unique Reservation Centre) by calling 081/8857584, or through the website www.villadeifioriacerra.it or at the CUP office on the first floor in Aurora reception: open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Payment of benefits can be made only at reception on the ground floor. The counters are open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and every Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
