Located on the 2nd floor of building A, the Obstetrics and Gynecology Unit has twenty eight beds and four first class room. All rooms have a private bathroom, air conditioning, television and a cupboard for patients’ clothes.

 The mother can be supported by a relative or a friend during childbirth.

Useful information
  • Outside the visiting hours, the presence of a female family member is allowed (except from 8.00 am to 11.00 am for departmental needs)
  • In the first class the presence of the husband is allowed, besides the female company.
  • It is forbidden to keep fresh flowers in the room (a composition of dried flowers is allowed).
  • Patients are advised to provide a complete change of the baby every morning, to be placed in the crib before returning to the nest.
  • For compliance with the law it is mandatory separate waste, so please follow the instructions written in the bathrooms.
  • We all work together to maintain order and cleanliness in the department!
Childbirth classes

The course is held every Tuesday from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm, in the Hall on the ground floor of the Rehabilitation Centre.

The entire course lasts for three months (no course from June to August: reservations restart in September). Teachers are qualified professionals answering different needs of women.

Registration is free (for registration please call 081.31.90.309) and is open to pregnant women from the 27th week of gestation.

 We advise that reservations must be made through CUP (Unique Reservation Centre) by calling 081/8857584, or through the website www.villadeifioriacerra.it or at the CUP office on the first floor in Aurora reception: open from Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Payment of benefits can be made only at reception on the ground floor. The counters are open from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm and every Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
